Hello Planimals,
ALTHOUGH ( always beware of sentences that begin with although) we have told you that no food is off limits. We told you that every food has calories to be counted. We told you all you need to do is count calories and do your exercise and write it down.....and those things are true to get your weight loss. Let's be real and clear about what it takes to lose weight.
CB absorbed the truth that "the low end of the calorie range and the high end of the Zone 1 MINUTES range makes for weight loss."
EVERYONE knows what will help in weight loss and what won't.
My questions for you are;
1 Why are you not walking or doing some sort of cardio 7 days a week?
2 Are you still eating things that YOU KNOW will not help weight loss?
3 Are you writing in your journal EVERYDAY?
4 Are you PLANNING your meal, and limiting meals out to eat?
5 Are you giving yourself credit for healthy behavior?
We are commited to your success, 100%, let's get real and be clear about what it takes and then together let's reach our goals!

This is a dose of realism. It is easy to think that you can 'wish' the wieght away. It takes work and the committment you are talking about. And what goes a long way is truly a POSITIVE ATTITUDE! I love the phrase, "Let your efforts outweigh your excuses." Thanks Donna and Jen for your continued support. I know that what you teach and say is our key to our success.

I am learning so much about the reasons I gained weight. The journaling has opened a new world for me. I think I knew the reasons all along, but it took writing them down for me to own them. To accept myself for who I am and realize that I have the power to change is awesome. I am excited and look forward to a new, healthier and fit me. I appreciate the opportunity to learn from Donna, Jennifer and the others in the class.

Today is Thursday and I am going to meet friends for lunch so I had a low cal breakfast. I am meeting Cathy for cardio at 4 at TFC. Anyone else what to meet us? I need 60 minutes. Today I have a Plan and that keeps me from wandering around in the garden of mindless calories.
I did not eat cake yesterday. Thank you God.
I wanted to skip my walk so bad today,(blisters,knee pain are these real excuses Donna?) but decided it would be easier to walk than worry about it.So I walked, I am glad I did. I walked OUTSIDE! Spring will be here soon yeah!!!!maria

Here are some diets I have tried atkins, slim fast, la weight loss, herbalife, weight watchers, apple cider vinegar, cabbage soup, cheese, south beach, body makeover from tv comercial.. some of these I tried as much as 3 WHOLE days.I am least proud of the diet pills I bullied my dr into prescribing in december, sick as a dog for 10 days and no weight loss, reminds me I have to apologize to her that is if she agrees to see me ever again. would you like to share some of the silly diets you have tried? It would make me feel better to know I am not the only desperate fool out there. notice sensible portion control and exercise is not on the list...and I wonder why I am obese DUH!!! as one of my friends likes to point out I DO have a college degree. maria

Just do what you can and to whomever asked if blisters and knee pain are excuses the answer is NO, THEY ARE REASONS TO TAKE TIME OFF. What is causing them? How can we change that?

it is a beautiful day I hope everyone can get outside some and remember how great it is to be alive, heathy and free.
today i walked outside(60 degrees) while listening to the beatles "here comes the son" life does not get any better than that!!!
The blisters are on the bottom of my foot caused by the socks rubing (any sugestions) and the knee pain is cronic.so one day at a time.maria

We did this thing in college once where you could only eat like 3 foods. I know it was bananas, hot dogs (I kid you not) and maybe eggs? I can't remember the third. I weighed about 130 and was always wanting to lose (what I would give to weigh that now)...so don't worry Maria, there are fools around you everywhere. It's 62 degrees in GSO and I'm heading out the door to get some exercise(should have been out there sooner than this). Donna, Jen, miss you!
