All foods have some calories. No food is actually "negative calorie" food BUT the overall effect of certain foods in our bodies is that of negative calories. Negative calorie foods are foods which use more calories to digest than the food actually contains.
Calories from these foods are harder for the body to breakdown and process. In other words the body has to work harder in order to extract calories from these foods. This gives these foods a tremendous natural fat burning advantage.

Cathy Briggs is my exercise higher power! I did not want to do my cardio today. I had planned to do it at 10 and when I had wasted time till 11:15 I saw Cathy doing her treadmill workout. I got her to switch machines so we could walk together and I got in my 60 minutes while she did 100!!!!

Even on Valentine's Day, I believe I ate so good. I allowed myself a chocolate truffle from the vineyard but it was well worth it! Jen was right, it is taking me longer to get to my zone. Again, I started a month before the plan started. I feel good. I started longer walks, but it's getting long, boring and tedious. Can't wait until its 70 degrees so I can take a stroll outside!

good workout with DL yesterday and I'll see you at 4 today Donna! If you are having trouble staying on the treadmill in zone 1 and its so boring you think you could die, get someone on the treadmill next to you and catch up on whats going on! Time will fly faster!( Thanks DL!)
I can't wait until it's 70 degrees so you can walk with ME outside, Shamonica :)...company makes all the difference in the world...if I hadn't had company this morning I don't think I'd have braved the cold for 4.8 miles. Glad I did, even if the wind tried to talk me out of it.

Thanks to Jen and Donna I did my cardio today. I was going to skip, but when I realized being consistent counts, I did 45 min. and pleased to learn that the last 15 burned more fat. Thanks friends!
