BEAUTIFUL DAY TODAY; ENJOY YOUR GOOD HEALTH

Great Job Maria, figure out about your shoes and socks, blisters are crappy. Today is a good day to move! Write down positve thoughts and feelings today, and even the negative ones. A day of sunshine and warm temps does a psyche good. If you are working today, pray for Spring when you too can enjoy the weather.

You are right--today is beautiful! The sunshine is refreshing and good for the soul. I took a walk outside and found I had more energy than ever. I am 100% vested in The Plan and find each day exciting! To journal is new, I normally keep those feelings inside, but on paper I can own them and somehow "make peace" with all those reasons that I had to feed for years.

Spent some time at Barnes & Noble looking the book suggested, The End of Overeating. The freedom from food chapter is both powerful and encouraging! It's efinitely worth taking a look at.

I, like Maria tried all the fad diets too. In college we did the rice and cantaloupe diet or the cabbage soup. Looking back, we were 120-130 lbs dying to be smaller.
I remember us getting up late at night going for a pizza because we were hungry and couldn't sleep. It's a shame contolled portions, healthy choices and exercise never entered our minds! A "do-over" isn't possible, but a "new start" is!

Maria: I know a few runners who put vasaline on their feet before they run to keep the socks from moving. I do it because I have dry skin, but it might help with the blisters.
