Question is :What can I keep around for snacking

Boil a Dozen Eggs

Chop a bowl of celery: add cottage cheese or peanut butter, or hummus if you need to

Roasted Root Veggies:

Cube: 1/3 Sweet Potato
1/3 Yukon Gold Potato
1 medium Beet ( watch out for the red stain)
1 Turnip
2 carrots
some red onion if you like
2 cloves garlic of you like
Put together in a large bowl, drizzle a little olive oil, add black pepper

Bake in a 450 degree oven spread on a cookie sheet, until edges are brown, turning a couple of times

Add this to brown rice plus salsa or black beans. Smile get some sleep and just try to guess how much weigh you have lost!!!

don't forget to peel the beets, turnips, carrots and the sweet potato, you can or don't have to on the yukon potato!!

Things are going okay! I have signed up to do a 10K in Richmond--April 2....taking Steve's advice to do shorter runs to work on my speed (after all, I AM AN ATHLETE!!) HA! Trying to sleep.....some days better than others....and I am finally! getting my eating back to "clean" :)

This week I AM going to do my best to NOT go over my daily calories. There have only been 2 days this entire time that I have eaten "right", "clean", whatever!

SO, this week is going to different and we will see what the scales say.

Also, big HOORAY for the Tues class! We are all doing great....no "mexican" folks this weigh-in.....LOL.

Donna the veggies in the oven were AWSOME...I used squash, carrots, potato (didnt have sweet potato) and onion and it is out of this world.... love it... Thanks a bunch..

pass it on Kathy! Terri P. you are doing this just right. Everyone does it a bit differently, BUT the one thing everyone has in common is; the week they decide to "do it right" everyone is happy and inspired. Thank you for your efforts.

Eat Clean, Exericese, journal and get everything you want, ain't that right???

I agree with ya Donna. Eat clean, exercise and journal. It does work. I lost again this week while still battling the diabetes issues. So, my plan this week is to keep doing what I have been doing. Ladies, please write in your journal. It works!
