Lisa Hawley brought some common sense to THE PLAN

The highlights were, do what you can to eat clean. So I am throwing out the Chinese Tilapia from Aldi. I will look for WILD CAUGHT salmon, cod and tuna from now on and I think Costco has them. The sugar revelations helps me. I have really cut it down and hope to phase it out. White sugar for sure and trying to get off it all together.

EAT YOUR ALMONDS, absorb your calcium through plant based foods NOT DAIRY! Use almond butter too.

EAT BROWN RICE, TEXMATI OR BASMATI

ROAST ROOT VEGGIES. USE ONION AND REMEMBER TO PEEL THE BEETS. TURNIPS, SWEET POTATO

DRINK YOU WATER, BUT NOT WITH YOUR MEAL. TRY ONLY 6 OZS. WITH YOUR MEAL AND 20 OZS. AN HOUR LATER.

What I did was try to add one thing at a time. I am hooked on about 8 things now. I know how to eat healthy all day. When I forget and think I want some of the old crap I now quickly get back to the clean stuff. I am not longer confused about or controlled by food.

I roasted Root Veg.'s last week...they were awesome!!

This question is not about Lisa's info, but about walking. Last week I was told that the first 30 min. are just a warm-up while the next 30 are actual fat-burning minutes. How then, if we walk in increments, does this help?

Hey Michelle
In order of best fat burning:
60 mins nonstop
30 mins X 2 in a day
60 mins in a day (however you split it up)

ANY is better than NONE..... but 60 in a row is BEST
