I have been reading the letters to the editor in the HP Surprise along with everyone else. However, I have seen instances where Spinergy folks have made themselves nuicances on the road, and much more frequently than I care to admit. We are quick to try to cast that blame on others, but I think we bear some fault also. I'm not saying we do it with a "we don't care about anyone else attitude" I think we just forget at times. We do ride "two wide" way too much. Our groups sometimnes get too large for cars to pass easily, and we tend to get all over the road on step ascents and don't seem to watch behind us. I think a refresher statement by the ride leaders before every ride would be very appropriate. Cover the items I mentioned above and other items that might arise. Me might want to cover stopping at stop signs and stop lights also. We should put our heads together and come up with a pre ride briefing and go over it before each ride. We are having several new people ride with us this summer and we need to let them know what we require from our riders.
