Hey now come on and tell us what you are still doing cause here's how it goes. You get some success and think it will just keep happening..............it will not. Tammi tell them how to keep things going. Heather don't quit working hard at it. Other Tammi keep questioning and choosing the right snacks. Where is Natasha? Anne what are you doing? Where is LUVDAPLAN? Please put your best effort on it today. I am in a place with not great food. I ate a good and big breakfast did lots of activity and am going to try to get a decent dinner at least the veggies are recognizable. The next 2 days I have lots of activity. Let me know you are out there in life and looking to do something outstanding not just the same old thing. Life is short. Get in shape. Deal with your stuff and be happy.
That'a all I got from Yucay Peru.
Hi Donna! You made me feel guilty--'cause your blogging while on vacation!:) So, I'm here--not sure that I can impart too much wisdom--except to say don't stop! The more days you PLAN, the more natural it becomes...believe me--it will eventually be how you live your life...I never thought that I'd cut up fruit in snack size containers or eat 6 or 7 times a day or be upset when I miss a workout or give up diet cokes!! And, really--there are days when I want to grab something becuase it will "make me feel better", the difference now is that I know it won't. So, I get up, go for a walk, find some other diversion and just make a better choice--becuase I really like my healthy fit self. So, as Donna said--do something outstanding for yourself! Get fit! get healthy! BE HAPPY!!! :) Tammi
I fell off the wagon at a family wedding - too many carrot cake martini's! When I got back, I stopped writing in my journal because I seem to eat the same foods all the time anyway. Guess what - no results.I have a life long habit of reaching my goal weight and then the old habits creep right back in. So the journalholic is back on track. I will break that habit this time. Thanks for the inspitation. I have set a new goal. Planning, planning, planning KA

I took a week off of work to go on a mission trip last week. I knew it was going to be hard to stay on track but had no idea how hard. I was on someone else's time and no day was ever the same. I tried to be self-concious about how many calories I thought I was consuming, and some of those days I cringed at how many extra I had eaten. I did not like that feeling of "no control" and I looked forward to getting home and getting things back in order. I actually missed the workouts (shocker). I learned some valuable lessons for future trips/vacations that I hope to apply again this summer when I go to the beach. The important thing is that when I got home, I did get back on track and I hit that treadmill even when my body didn't want me to. As Donna suggested, I am dealing with my stuff and I am happy. It does feel good to do something healthy for my body and my mind :)) Julie
I can't believe a week has gone by, thanks for the comments. I am on vacation with Brazilians and someone doing an ironman. I have eaten great and big at breakfast and done lots of walking and hiking. It feels good to see other people that do not think about food all the time, people that enjoy good health and their bodies. Please keep trying, keep writing and if you know someone who needs a call or a pat on the back givie it to them. See you next week,if my passport problems get worked out at the embassy tomorrow if not I am moving to Sau Paulo.
How'd you like yoga?
Donna
