Greek Yogurt, Negative Calorie Foods

Last week we had lots of sharing about new things to try. Greek yogurt since it's first mention from CB has always seemed to sneak into the conversation. Go get some. With fruit or not. Oatmeal for breakfast is the best answer. Go get some, NOT instant. With fruit and nuts or without.

Eat the same breakfast for a week.

Cook dinner one more time this week.

Get all your fruit and vegtable servings daily for this week.

Get ONLY your required protein.

Exercise everyday.

I just finished walking three miles outside!! I feel great. I walked outside on Saturday too and Sunday was my day off. My goal is to loose big this week. Tomorrow is my first Zone 2 day! I have been eating fair this week. There was a bday party, and I ate dinner before I went so I would eat anything...and yet, I still had two slices of cheese Pizza. Hey, but I didnt beat myself up for it but pressed forward. I have been drinking water like crazy!!!! Good luck everyone! Oh...I dunno about this greek yogurt. LOL

Today I felt discouraged. The scale is not acknowledging my effort. I went to the gym anyway, I am glad I did. Steve(gym) told me we can't put a time limit on fitness. He is so right, it is a journey for life not just 12 wks. I have learned so much this past 6 wks. I have become stronger physically and mentally. My husband said today "I think you are going to do it this time". So I am in it for good! the hell with the scale!
planimals keep going! I get so much hope seeing all of your success in dealing with our common issues. You are an inspiration to me. maria

Hi! I've been peeping at the blog...and decided to join in the discussion. Maria--good to see that you got your "mind right" by blogging. It is truly a journey and while the scale may not always show your effort--it will show in other ways. I bet you have to go faster on the treadmill to be in zone 1...and now you are doing some zone 2? I bet your clothes are feeling different..and, most importantly, the people around you are seeing and sensing something different about you...that sense of strength and caring enough about yourself to commit to good health. The number on the scale, while one small measure of the plan, is just a number. What really matters is that you are taking this journey and learning about yourself--and becoming healther. Believe me...I started this 10 months ago and I still learn something about myself every day (and it isn't always flattering!). Well, I'll go back to peep status now!
Donna and Jennifer--I miss ya and may have to make a return appearance to the Plan with your next session!! :) Tammi

Tammi... i was busting with pride at your "summary" of the virtues of the PLAN. So many people want to make this more complicated than necessary.....it's really as simple as caring enough about yourself to WANT something different for yourself. And the second you really WANT it ... it happens for you! Maria---- this will work! Maybe not every weigh in... but with time it happens. And it WILL happen for you because I can see how much you want it.

HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT PLANIMALS??!!

You guys are correct that the scale is just one part of The Plan. I believe this is a journey, a new way of life forever. If we stay focused and make the best choices each day then we will reach our goals. We will be emotionally stronger, healthier and fit. The numbers will come on the scale, our clothes will fit differently and we'll understand ourselves better than ever. Donna and Jennifer believed in us from day 1, it's wonderful to see and hear from the group each week. It's awesome to see folks start believing in themselves and embrace The Plan. Stay positive and focused, have a great week! Nokie

Maria, Keep working. Use the experience of the others that have the same story as you.

It is true. It will work. You can do this.

We will help anyway we can/

Thanks for peeping Tammi

I found a great website: www.livestrong.com/thedailyplate.

The daily plate gives you calorie and nutritional info for any food - but it also tells you ways to work off what you just ate (for those M&M lovers in my group).

Thank you for every other informative website.
Where else may I get that kind of info written in such
a perfect method? I've a challenge that I am just now operating on, and I've been on the glance out for
such information.
