With The Fitness Center closed what can you do to get your workout? With this weather being an unplanned event it is a time to rePLAN. Get in your journal and rearrange your week if you need to. Another opportunity to take a day off and watch your calories. If you are stuck inside take 15 minutes with your journal.

snow = an intense desire for pizza.i am glad i don't have any in the house and would not dare risk the delivery guy's life. i have the ingredients for low fat taco soup, that should do the trick.

Hi Maria, MAKE the soup! get thru the intense desire. Don't get too hungry cause you will look back at this day and smile when you did not give in to too many calories.
a good time to write what you are feeling and reread your goals. Hang in these will get fewer and farther between.
Yes the bike takes more effort, sitting is easier than standing and when it it easier HR is lower. If you must ride the bike choose a higher "level" workload.

Snowy day I am on break on work. You are right about re-planning workouts......snow happens, colds happen. I have had a cold for a week, the kind where you are in bed. Missed all my workouts but I have already planned my new week, starting Monday. Melanie
Glad you are feeling somewhat better Melanie and as you know when you are sick you should rest in your off minutes. I am proud of all the times I have seen you in TFC lately. Care to share your weight loss?

Hi Planimals! I'm just catching up--here at HPRHS....waiting for spring!! I managed to get 100 minutes in on a treadmill today...:) Love that running! I laughed at the burger bonanza blog! yikes!!! And, Anne, I think that I have been a voyeur (is that how you spell it?) but, now, I'm back on the blog--being inspired by all of our new plan mates. Well, I'm sure that it must be 80 degrees by now....so, I'm going for a swim:) Tammi
Having trouble this week- where does one get/find willpower?
CRNA week at work so more "food" than ususal. Had hard time sticking to my "plan". Then missed two workouts due to weather, probably one more. will keep trying, trying , trying, and talking to myself!
