hey, I just discovered that calorieking is also online at www.calorieking.com. Just thought I would pass it along. I was trying to find a calorie count for bourbon chicken that I had at the mall.
I just want to share my frustrations. Not only do I have to deal with my "saboteur" (sp?)at home, but I also have six very unhealthy individuals that I work for. They get doughnuts and candy all the time, they have nothing but sugary cereal, and most of what they eat is processed. The girls who will be 14 next month only drink Dr. Pepper, nothing else. The boys want junk food all the time or they want to go to out to fastfood restaurants. I got to work today and they bought a cheesecake. I love cheesecake and they told me to have some. They know I am on the plan! The wife is also trying to lose weight! AUGH!!! Sometimes I wish I could knock some sense into these people.
is the wife buying the junk food. it is about making different choices not depriving anyone of a snack. I know afterschool can be hard. Get the wife to make better choices and use her as your buddy system. as for you-know-who how about a heart-to-heart with what you are trying to do and how you feel about yourself now that you are working hard and it is working. How about simply saying if you love me you will help me...I love you and would help you if you were trying to lose weight. STAY STRONG YOU ARE DOING GREAT AND INSPIRING THE GROUP!!!!!
Lol! I feel like I need to sometimes. I have tried to tell the wife what to buy, it's more of the husband buying it, but she doesn't listen to me at all. No one in this house listens to me not even the darn dog. Lol...I have put a few things on the grocery list though so hopefully they will be here when I get here on Monday. Oh, does anyone have some good recipes they would like to share? Is the nutritionist going to help us in that category? Thank you!!!
