I have been eating well and working out good. Anticipating looking at the results of it. I feel good and better each day. Anne, I went to Chic-Fil-A on Saturday too! But I ate chicken sandwich on wheat and bottle water. I did eat the fries, had to! They were terrific!!!! ~Shamonica~

Shamonica you make me smile. I've been working pretty hard too but feel it will be a little week for me this week-I feel swollen. I'll be happy with just some kind of loss...we shall see! It's all good.

Today at the meeting I invited everyone to "my blog"...haha, if others don't join in it really will be my blog! It turned out i was right and it was a small number for me this week, only half a pound. But I'm staying the course and if what I think is true it will be a bigger number next week. I got one of my zone 2 days in after the meeting. I like to do one on this day of the week so I only have to fit one more in for the week. Not that zone 2 isn't wonderful...but I like to cross one off of my list right away. I hope everyone has a great week and puts your ideas, successes etc. here. Anne

I haven't done my zone 2 yet this week, so tonight I shall. Yes, we can call this our blog because no one else does it. C'mon Plan-nimals, get to sharing!!! We all need your motivation, inspiration, and dedication!!! I weigh-in tomorrow. Cross ur fingers! ~Shamonica~

Hi! I had an email exchange with Anne yesterday and she motivated me to blog!:) I had a good week--and I am feeling so much better physically and mentally! (I'm sure it was dropping the asparatame--I'm sure it's misspelled, but you get the drift!) Okay...it might not be all due to that "a stuff"...I have discovered that if I do what Donna and Jennifer tell me--I have success! Something that has eluded me with previous attempts. So, there's a blog from me! Hope others will join in...As a group--I believe that we are doing great and have lots to be very excited about!

I was wondering if the Fitness Center workers could go back to checking our heartrate like they did when we first started the Plan (around every 15 min or so)? Now that we are doing some days in Zone 2 & Interval coming up I'm having a hard time knowing what to do & how to regualating my heartrate. Somedays I can figure it out but most of the time I can not tell just by how I feel. I need the checker. Some days doing the saem thing as the day before does not result in the same heart rate range as the day before. 2 days they checked my heartrate once. Unfortunately I'm not comfortable enough to ask them to come by regualarily. It's hard for me to ask. I understand they are busy and can't read our minds. I thought if I nned it checked more often maybe others do also?

It is a cost, but one that I think is well worth the money to buy a heart rate monitor. The reason I really recommend it is it gives you such freedom. You can put it on and go walk outside and see what that does with your HR. I know certain places to walk, because there are enough hilly parts to keep my HR up. I am a person who needs as many options as possible. sometimes I just don't want to get on that treadmill and would rather be at the park, or am pushed for time and outside is faster than getting to the gym. Even at the gym you have the information right on your wrist, you just have to glance down and see what your HR is doing. I haven't even read the whole book or know what all my HR monitor does, but I do know how to put it on and get my HR.

Tammi, welcome to my blog! Ha Ha. I wholeheartedly agree with you about just doing whatever Jennifer and Donna say to do. I will blindly follow! My brother was asking me a question about the plan over the weekend and I said "I just do what they tell me, they are smarter than me." :) I looked at fiber yesterday. It can be a little tough to get as much as they say we should, something else to try to work on. Anne
