NEW NUMBERS NEW WORKOUTS

Great news! We had several people get "new numbers" this week. When you used to weigh 200 something and now you weigh 100 something!! when you used to weigh in the 180's and now you weigh in the 170's. Congratulations these are mini milestones that everyone needs.

Shamonica is back! Lynn is on a vacation. Many have asked what to do "I am going out of town"

#1 Rule of The Plan: enjoy your life. if you think you would be happier and have more fun or a better life if you lost some weight well that is what we are here for. Vacations are a reward and necessary. You don't have to eat 3000 caloried a day because you are out of town. Eat, drink and be mindful.

See ya

Today I thought I would be happier and have more fun if I had some ice cream :). And some hot fudge. I'm going to write it down and I think tomorrow I probably won't have any of that. I don't think I can keep up the same pace if I don't let myself mess up from time to time. AR

Remember the definition of "Messing Up" is knowingly speeding in a school zone. The definition of Happiness is every now and then having some ice cream and hot fudge. #1 Rule of The Plan: BE HAPPY

I agree. Shamonica said "you should have called me"...but I wasn't looking for anyone to talk me out of it. The day after I had my sundae I was pushed for time, couldn't get to the gym so I went to the park in the pouring rain and did my zone 2, plus 15 of zone 1. I don't need to tell you that I wouldn't have walked in the rain 4 weeks ago right? It was kind of fun!!!! It was me and the ducks. I needed wringing out at the end. But I got that day of zone 2 in. And stayed on track throughout the day. AR

and.....tell me how you felt about your commitment to your self after your (funny) workout. I know you are proud to get to it, and take responsibility for it. Of course you were pushed for time and couldn't get to the gym the next day. Those are the obstacles that many people will not get thru, and you did. YOU COULD AND YOU DID. That is why you are where you are. As always
Thanks for doing it!

Donna, thank you for blogging. It helps me.When nobody else blogs I think, "gosh I must be the only one struggling." I am doing well with this whole thing, but I definitely struggle at times. In answer to your question, that is what I feel the best about through this process, doing what I've decided to do for me when I know how easy it would be to not do it, skip the day etc....I am learning how to think how can I make it work today instead of coming up with the reasons why it won't work. Thank you for all of your help! Anne

It's all good Anne, you are learning to think thru the struggle. The question that you can always fall back on is......when I did the right thing the last time was I happy I did it?
Most likely the answer to that is YES. Your old habits are fading, you are in control and it is exciting. Stay in touch as much as you need!!
