The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in one's determination.

at least at my house the chaos is clearing and I feel excited about 2010. What can we do to keep things going from the last time we met?

Go back to the basics.........

Breakfast

All food groups, everyday

exercise

good sleep

Here we go again.

Hey! I still check the blog in spite of the inactivity! And was happy to hear from Donna today. And saw Jen today, so it was a good day. She pointed out to me that today was 12 weeks from the NC Marathon, or in my case 1/2 marathon. Who else is there? I've decided my pain would be less if I had fewer pounds to carry around through this training, which MEANS, keeping the book out and writing in it. That's all it takes! Worked kind of hard today on the treadmill, and working nights at 11pm tonight, so fully anticipate in the middle of the night, muscles being sore and cramping up. But it's good! Means I did some work. Happy New Year everyone!

I have been checking the blog too...glad to see some activity! I am training, training, training!! Only 12 weeks to go?? I'm getting nervous! I have managed to NOT gain any weight over these past 2 weeks...and, like Anne, have decided that a few more pounds will definately help me in March. So, a new book has been started and writing has occurred. Happy New Year!! Tammi

OK Planimals! sounds good. I had chicken and green beans for dinner and would love to have lots of the random junk food that is leftover from break. I will not because I don't think you are! and I have to be on TV tomorrow because Jennifer Hinely is a big fraid-y cat! Thanks Jennifer, enjoy your day off!

Hey guys! I'm still checking the blog too. Love to hear what you all are doing and keeps me motivated. I also managed to keep from gaining during the holiday binge! I'm sure the exercise has helped. Got out the book today and started writing down again... back on the wagon. Good luck to you in training for the 1/2 marathon.
Donna, give Jennifer a break... she had to do the radio show!

We are all taller and thinner on radio Bette, so I think the obvious choice is me on the mike and JH in front of the camera!!!

Time for lunch....time for me not to be lazy and prepare something Plan worthy. I have my brown rice on the stove and some hummus!!

This should be easy!

yay! people on the blog. I love that. Oatmeal for breakfast Donna! Training is happening...working with Jen cuz I'm too much of an introvert AND procrastinator to contact your friend, but I know that I will stay in touch with Jen (esp since I paid :)for her help :)....I almost died on the treadmill the first day of her plan for me! But there is progress which feels good. Don't forget you said you'd pick out my socks Donna. Someone keep reminding me to write things down. Does anyone want my kids for a few months? I find it easier if I just have to feed myself. They are pretty good kids.

I am glad you are training, I am sure you will be able to do the 1/2 marathon and feel great about it. I am learning to speak Spanish a goal for 2010 then go to Macchu Picu where I am pretty sure they do not speak Spanish.

Random I know but it makes me happy
