WOW...check out the "coke" comment on the previous post

Thanks for all the comments. I love the revelations and the perseverance. Not everyone likes it, not everyone is sold on this yet...BUT... we promise it will work. If anyone is having trouble with the exercise prescription or the motivation chime in here. Have a great weekend with the family, with friends or quietly if you can!!! We are entering the cruise zone, do what you know is right. STOP what you know is not right and take a look at your goal once each day. Has it changed yet?

See you all next week.

Hey, Donna and fellow Plan-imals! I would love to know where the article about Coke came from? That is scary stuff. Especially the part about leaching calcium from bones! Yikes!

This Plan works! This is your chance to do what you have wanted to and needed to do all your life. Or at least it was for me. I finished up my first 12 weeks having lost a total of 23 lbs. I have lost another 7 lbs since that last weigh-in. This is the first time in my adult life that I have weighed this little, or lost this many pounds. The best part is, I know, I know, I know I can do this... for the long term. The changes that Donna and Jennifer have taught me have become life-style changes. I still have a long way to go. I am working on my second goal, my second 12 weeks and will still have another 12 weeks or so to go after this.

Hang in there! You can do this... and on the days you think you can't...Donna and Jennifer will be there.

I've been exercising outside for a few of my days and it's been a lot of fun. 60 minutes on the treadmill can be so tedious. The time spent outside doesn't feel so much like a chore. I'm actually enjoying it! Who thought I'd ever say that I'm enjoying exercise??!!

For those us of us who enjoy an occasional cocktail, I found this article from Prevention magazine. It explains how to "lighten" your favorite alcoholic drinks:

All I can really say is UGHHHHH!!!! Also, hypothetically speaking, if someone had given up and threw in the towel only to dig out the towel and motivation 3 days later, would that person still be in the game? I was just wondering because a friend of a friend was telling me that happened to her.... I wish we all lived together... like "The Plan" reality show...

Hypothetically speaking, I say yes, still in the game. 3 days is just 3 days! It isn't the rest of the friend of your friend's life, just 3 days of it, which are now in the past.
